روز جهانی مهاجران

On the occasion of “World Immigrant Day ” (18th of December) the members of #I_am_a_christian_too campaign protested ” in front of the Swedish Parliament in Stockholm. The purpose of this gathering was to commemorate this day and remember the main reason for immigration for forced leaving of their homeland which has led to the refugees of millions of Iranians in the last forty-four years. The actions of anti-Iranian Islamic regime ruling in Iran resulted in the uncertainty in the condition of hundreds of thousands of refugees and their exile all over the world.

This criminal and corrupt regime with organized violation of human rights, repression, prison, torture, execution, discrimination, murder, assassination, financial and administrative corruption, plunder of national wealth, embezzlement, rent, securitization of society, use of unwise revolutionary leaders instead of compassionate and patriotic elites in leading positions, destroying the country’s economy, spreading hopelessness and uncertainty about the future among youth, captivating women’s basic rights, interfering in all private matters and the privacy of Iranians’ lives, disrespecting the rights of and dignity of individuals, the use of Iran’s wealth for the ideological purposes of the ruling system instead of public welfare and thousands of other calamities, have turned Iran, as a potential rich country with ancient history and culture, into a hell. Iranian civilians, against their will, tolerate a very difficult conditions in exile, seeking safety, peace, freedom, and respect for their human rights for themselves and families elsewhere.

We as Christian converts are a clear example of organized repression and discrimination against religion and religious minorities. The Islamic regime ruling in Iran not only does not recognize our sovereignty, but also use actions such as security charges, arresting and imprisoning against us while we just ask for our basic human and religious rights.
