Participants stood holding posters of Bita Shafiei while broadcasting her voice through loudspeakers, seeking to be her voice—a voice that the ruling authorities are attempting to silence behind prison walls.
The gathering served as an expression of solidarity with Bita Shafiei and all those who have been subjected to persecution, imprisonment, and injustice for their beliefs, opinions, or pursuit of fundamental freedoms.
